Energy-Efficient, Deployable, Re-Usable Engineered Structures
For military, first responders, disaster relief and rapid response housing. SBI has developed an advanced shelter system composed of prefabricated, rugged, insulated panels. This panelized approach enables; 1) flat packing for ease of transport, 2) fast and simple deployment of a very energy-efficient structure with no requirement for specialized tools or labor skills, 3) rapid erection of facilities that are fire resistant, non-toxic, and have no formaldehyde out-gassing, 4) and rigid structures that can be easily disassembled, moved, and reused by the US military, by coalition forces, or Afghan villages instead of contributing to landfills or hazardous waste dumps.
Modular Engineered Deployable Buildings
For military office and barracks billeting in addition to use as analyst facilities, training centers, conference rooms, and data centers. The SBI Modular Deployable Buildings consist of individual 140 – 240 sq ft “pods” that can be “stacked” to form a large complex building. We believe we will have the first multi-story capable engineered building solution available to the military to use as a substitute for modified steel shipping containers.
Re-Usable, Engineered patent pending Leveling Sub Floors
will provide the military with a rapidly deployable sustainable subfloor for use with tents, plywood B-huts, metal K-huts, and small Container-Based buildings. Use of this solution is not only much less expensive due to its reusability and life cycle, the SBI Engineered Leveling Subfloor will permit much faster setup than traditional wood and plywood structures.
